Subject: OS 10 & OS 9
Greetings
In early October I moved from 9.2.2 to 10.2.6, then 10.2.8. With the move I also am going
from Emailer to Mail & Address Book
from Palm Desktop to iCal & Address Book
from MacMoney to First Edge
from Omnis 3+ to Filemaker Pro 6
from Mozilla to Safari
I've been making notes and updating them up. For example, I might write "Mail does not do BCC" then scratch that when I find out it does.
Once I'm roughly as experienced and familiar with 10 as I was with 9, I plan to report to the list.
Prior to that, I'll take on questions.
Panther, which I have not run, does at least two things I've read about I really like. One is encryption of data on the HD. Another is multiple desktops.
I do not run networked or high speed. OS 10 is built for both and Panther even more.

Subject: Re: Run Panther on a 400 MHz iMac? Mason, thank you for your reply. I guess that I should have stated that I'm running OS 9.2.2, and have no experience with any version of OS 10. Therefor I need a comparison between 9.2.2 and 10.panther.
