Although I just got my copy of Panther in, I haven't installed it yet (maybe this weekend)... but if multiple desktops works as well as I hope, that might be the nail in the coffin to push me off Emailer at home. The only reason I still use Emailer at home is because of the ability to run two copies of it at the same time. My wife and I share the home iMac, and are constantly jumping in and checking email while the other is using the computer. All OS X clients that I looked at linked the application with the logged in user. That meant in order for one of us to "jump in" to check email, the other had to log out which caused all your apps to quit. So I'm crossing my fingers that Pather's multiple desktops does as well as I hope and I'll be able to instantly switch users to check email, and then switch back again without interuption of the current logged in user. If it does, then I'll probably start re-evaluating OS X clients and finally make the switch (and I know my wife will make the switch ASAP as she doesn't like Emailer because it doesn't do HTML mail... which is funny because that is one of the exact reasons I DO like Emailer!) -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
