Hi y'all: Emailer recently crashed on me and I couldn't restart it due to an alert that kept telling me to quit the app.
Using OE, which couldn't import any of CE's address book due to the crash, I contacted Chris using his ftp site address and he reminded me how to start up using the Option key to rebuild the desktop. Which I did successfully except for quite a few missing folders. Just in case this is new info to anyone - I don't recall reading about it previously - I thought I would pass on the following discovery: When I created a new folder (named Emailer) it immediately filled with mail from a lost folder previously named "Updates". Continuing in that vein by creating new folders and subfolders (and continuing to rename and reaarrange them appropriately) until the new folders came up empty I was able to retrieve all but two important folders - for some reason a reference file and my general Emailer file are still missing. But it is a relief to have all the rest back!
