Just to be safe, I've sent myself 2 emails and have a mail action that
just sends a new one every time one is received and deletes the old one
(sends it to the deleted folder). That way, there's always one coming in
and always one going out, so at a minimum there will be one to read. I
waited until after the first one was sent, then composed the 2nd
(actually just added my aol account to the "to" line in the sent mail)
and it sent on next connection.

I'm still having a bigger problem that CE 2.03 forgets how to connect to
AOL from time to time in OS X. Even when I dial in separately, then
connect via CE, it will, after a few weeks, or days sometimes, not be
able to connect. My solution has been to reboot in OS 9, let CE connect
a few times (even launching the remote access by itself), then switch
back to OS X and it will connect fine.
