It is hard-coded into the application as I recall. I just set the screen resolution to a lower rate so I can still see the Browser text. My "readers" get stronger all the time, but... Ken >emailer-digest Digest V103 #234 Leon asked >My first question, after downloading the helpful custom setting patch, >is: > >Is there any way to increase the font size in the browser I think there may be a minor glitch occasioned by the patch which causes the font to default to something I dont recognise. Certainly the patched Emailer does not appear to respond to instructions to set the font to Geneva 14 point which is the largest variable font one can get . This small insect appears to affect only the browser display, though not the message text itself which can still be changed under Setup>Preferences>Font & Color. On my system (v2.0.3 patched running under Panther) anyway Best regards, Julian >emailer-digest Digest V2005 #83 The "tiny" print Bill mentioned is because OS X and the newer Macs by default use a very high resolution. Therefore, everything looks sharper, but smaller. Emailer doesn't have the ability to change it's default font when you're in a Browser style window, so I resolved that problem by changing the screen resolution in OS X. The font size is pretty much back to "normal", if not a little bit bigger. As a example, I'm typing this on a G4 Aluminum Powerbook, 15" screen. The default resolution is 1152x768. That seems to be the LCD's native resolution, and I admit, things look real sharp. But changing the screen to 896x600 makes things bigger, and ironically, apps like Emailer look normal again. Of course, my desktop is now smaller, and things are not as sharp as they could be. Eric C. It is too small for my aging eyes. hbbbbhhhhhhhhhhhh''' Try a font that has a high X-height. Geneva is double that of some other typefaces Julian END OF ARCHIVE ____________________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
