Not cleaner per se, just another option that follows along your idea (that is, changing resolution when needed and then changing back when done). For Pre OS X users, check out the Close View control panel (up until OS 8 it was installed by default I believe, starting with OS 8 it was moved to an optional install). For OS X users, check out the Universal Access System Preference, and its Zoom ability. Both allow you to turn on the ability to zoom in the screen by various levels. This will let you toggle the feature on to see the small text and then toggle it back off when done. Basically, the same idea as resolution changing, only it won't cause your icons to be moved, and it is faster and easier to do because you can use keyboard controls to activate and deactivate it. -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
