There is nothing stopping someone from writing a new email client that is very similar to Emailer. No one has bothered to do so. >After all >Chris you seem to have made improvements to it, haven't you? Sort of, I hacked Emailer itself to add new features or change some features. Someone can not take Emailer's source code and create a direct OS X port of it without Apple's permission. Even my hacks are a bit of a grey zone if I am allowed to do them or not. I think I get away with it simply because Apple either doesn't know they exist, or don't care because it has no impact on their business plans or sales. >Along this line, if Emailer is so good, and we believe it is, then why >to the current and new programs not produce something similar but with >improvements? That is a good question. I can't answer that. I don't know why someone hasn't written an application that is very similar to Emailer. -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
