Society's 'model' for buying a computer for the last
20 years has been... EITHER / OR.

You can have one of these or one of those...but not
both in the same machine at the same time.  This changes
things.  How much remains to be seen though.

When the price gap narrows enough, it will no longer make
sense to *NOT* have Mac capable hardware.

If Steve is thinking ahead right... and is willing to not
repeat past mistakes... and further is willing to accept
lower per unit profit... he may have an important inroad
to a market share increase.

Somehow, I have this 'vision' of Mac beginning to
slowly... relentlessly increase their market share if
they get an instant multiboot system.
Click click... Mac
Click click... Linux
Click click... windoze

Click click... COOL!!!

Then again maybe I'm just fantasizing.
