I quit Emailer, later I start Emailer again, and one message from one of the last sets of downloads unpacks again. This isn't a message that failed to unpack the first time, this is one that failed to be deleted from the Temp Incoming folder after being unpacked. It is always deleted on the 2nd pass. This is NOT the .DS_Store problem (but for kicks, I've trashed the Temp Incoming folder anyway, didn't fix it). > > > Anyone else seen this? Anyone else find a cure? I can live with it if I have to, its just slightly annoying so if I can fix it, I'd rather.
I think I may have the same problem. 2 or 3 times a day I'll have a duplicate copy of a message in CE. If this happens at home, that means that the original copy of the email is still on the server at my place of employment, and if I check that by webmail, I'll see only one email message. So somehow between the server at work and CE at home, a duplicate downloading or unpacking has occurred. Again, out of dozens and dozens of messages per day, this will happen only one or twice or three times. It happens seldom, and it is sporadic. I'm not aware of this happening only upon starting up CE, but I'll be on the lookout for that from now on. Oh, I'm not using 10.4, but rather 10.3.9.
