I took both on a test drive nearly three years ago, and ended up with PowerMail. The PowerMail email discussion list is packed with former Emailer users. I thought Gyazmail was excellent as well, and could be happy with either application. There are a few differences on which your decision would hinge, if you were to decide to leave Emailer.
