I am in the same situation as Graham, having moved to Thunderbird about six months ago. While I still monitor this list and try to keep up with what is going on, I think my move to Thunderbird is permanent and I would like a convenient way to access the mail that is in CE without having to go through the application. I would appreciate any ideas on how to store them in a easy to retrieve format.

I have several years' worth of email in my CE database. I have moved on to Apple Mail (grumbling and grousing all the way, but definitely away from CE) a year ago.

There is now the prospect of Classic not being available on future machines - even on my wife's Mini today. I'd like to still be able to refer back to the old email that is in the CE database, even without being able to run CE. What are my options?
