Unless she has the brand new Intel mini, then she should be able to run
Classic. It is not installed by default anymore on new Macs, but if you
pop in your install CDs you can add it as an optional install.

None of the Intel based Macs will be able to run Classic, which means
there is a REALLY good chance that Classic will not be part of OS 10.5
since it is due out after Apple has fully moved to Intel processors.

When you go to print, there is a choice in the printer dialog for the
Save as File settings. In there you can change it to print directly to
PDF saving you a step (I do not remember if this is enabled if you don't
have a full version of Acrobat installed).

There are various scripts out there that will convert your email to text.
Either as individual files, or as one giant file, or even to mbox format
(which is basically a plain text file). I'd check either my emailer web
pages (http://emailer.mythtech.net) or check fog city's web site.

There is also a cool tool that will let you export your entire mail
database to a FileMaker Pro database. That might be your best option. FMP
is fully supported on new machines, and although it is not "Universal"
yet, FileMaker Inc is most definitly going to make it such. Plus, the
tool to do this comes with a runtime version of FileMaker so you don't
have to own a full version if you don't want to. I believe it is
available on my web pages, if not, I'm sure it is on Fog City's web site
(looke for eMessageArchiver, at least I think that was the name of it)
