When I couldn't find 'Erase Disk" in the menu bar I tried to drag the
file to the trash but, as you say, it didn't work.

The CD-RW disks I have were burned with Toast. with an external
drive which i hated to use. I was hoping, now I can put my disks into the
computer that I could do it more simply.

That was my intention - that there is no option in the menu bar to Erase
the
disk. I just looked again and this is all I find that may bde relevant:
"New Finder
Window"; "New Burn Folder"; I checked in OSX mode, and just in case...
OS9 but
no erase comes up. I did however open the New Burb Folder and put some
data
in there then tried to drag it to the disk but, as expected, it says it
can't be modified.

Thanks for trying to help.
