Yes, it is now by Symantec, but it used to be an independent company.
Ghost lets you make an exact image copy of the drive (or in this
case, drive file) that you can restore on a new drive (or in this
case drive file). It is kind of a hard drive version of a floppy bit
copier. There may well be free software that is similar out there if
you check around.
