Yes, I am using Comcast's SMTP server - I believe (I don't understand these things). I'm using Comcast because I subscribe to their high-speed internet service, and was thus given an email address by them. Since I had just changed over from using AOL a friend told me that if I got a domain name for myself I could avoid the hassle of changing my address again if I switched to another email provider. So I got my domain name from Dreamhost, and Dreamhost forwards my mail to Comcast, and my incoming messages are posted on Dreamhost's Webmail as well. But I've noticed that I get an awful lot of spam on that site that I don't get when my mail comes from Comcast. Here's an updated response from Dreamhost: >We are still working on this -- the problem is that every time we get >unblocked (which is up to 3 times a week now) we get blocked again within >a day or even a few hours. As soon as we get whitelist status on this IP address, this > problem should no longer be an issue. At this point I'm considering waiting this out to avoid getting so much spam. Ellen Roger S. You don't say it, but I presume that you are using Comcast's SMTP >(email sending server) to send your email. ----------------- End Forwarded Message ----------------- ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
