If you change addresses, it is only a matter of time before the new
one gets just as flooded with spam. And that will happen sooner then
you think it will.
So you are better off finding ways to combat the spam you have.
You can check and see if MacDialup is doing any kind of spam
filtering. At this point, they should be. If they are not, you should
try to encourage them to do so. There are pleanty of free server side
tools out there so even a small ISP should have no excuse not to do
some level of spam filtering.
You can also look into things like SpamSieve that will scan your POP
box periodically and delete spam from it.
Or you can setup your own mail server, do server side filtering
yourself, and then configure it to pull your POP accounts on a
regular basis (my original mail server was setup this way with the
help of a program called MailTron Gateway).
