On any INTEL machine I would run a 'protected subsystem' using
sheepshaver, and CE.

Norton sells you such a thing by trying to shield your mail app with even
an own fake mailserver inside, for money; whereas I believe it is great
to have your mail running inside a virtual machine, and use CE which only
processes text mail message bodies, and stores the attachments (the big
stuff) outside emailer on a disk or folder that can easily be outside the
lightweight machine running your e-mail headers.

I am not on INTEL yet, but I will try this.
I am not going to buy an INTEL box just as if it were fashion for now, I
will buy one when I need one.
