Thanks to Chris for his reply to my brother's Apple Mail SMTP problem.
As I seem to be dealing with a lot of Apple Mail problems nowadays,
I've decided to put everything I know here:
http://www.glodark.co.uk/apple_mail.htm
I've taken the liberty of adding Chris's reply under "Apple Mail
Problems" because I think it includes tips which are of a general
nature and not simply specific to my brother.
**IMPORTANT**
As there doesn't appear to be an official mailing list for Apple
Mail, I'm thinking about starting one. Before I do that, I wonder if
it would be possible/acceptable/sensible to use this list for both
Apple Mail and Emailer? To my mind, it would help to keep the list
alive for those who still use emailer (I still use it occasionally)
and it would "bring in new blood" with new questions and answers
about Apple Mail. But who "owns" this list? How does one join it?
So, before I go it alone, would anyone care to comment on the
feasibility of using this list or of starting a new one?
