I was wondering where you picked up Emailer 2.1, since my understanding
is: the last version was Emailer 2.0v3.
Sorry, all - Didn't mean to start any thoughts or rumors in your
heads... it's 2.0 v3. Was typing off the top of my head (or out of
my...!) while here at work, away from my Mac.
Meanwhile, I appreciate the feedback I've gotten... no solutions yet,
but I've heard from a few people who recommend PowerMail, which I've
looked at in the past.
My issue with PowerMail is/was that I understand it leaves all e-mails
on an IMAP server (such as AOL's server) unless you manually drag them
to folders on your Mac. As I keep virtually all non-spam e-mail, that's
not a real appealing idea. Although it would probably make me do a
better job of evaluating what I really need/want to keep, it's often
the e-mail I barely remember from 4-5 years ago that I mangage to pull
out of Emailer to save the day!

Still, I'll keep PowerMail in mind -- at 49 Euro (US $70+) it's a bit
pricey (compared to Thunderbird for free) but worth it if it meet my
needs and keeps my wife and kids happy.
