Sounds like the wireless card drive doesn't work correctly.
Does the card actually support the Mac? Is there a driver upgrade for
it?
Also, since you are trying to use it in Classic, did you install OS X
drivers or OS 9 drivers or both? I'm not entirely sure where all the
drivers may need to be to get it to work correctly.
