Can someone help me check the Setup in 'Easy Setup' in Claris. Earthlink is the server and I am using Classic OS10.4.11. For some reason my mail is being delayed, that is, when I download I might get nothing, or one or two Emails even though there are 42 waiting on the server's webmail.
I am thinking the problem could be in the settings and I am wondering if anybody else has a similar setup with Earthlink that would allow me to confirm if the settings are correct. One of the difficulties is that I am using my Earthlink address (which I pay a small fee for monthly) but am getting my internet service from Time Warner (originally Adelphia) . They keep changing their settings and don't let you know. When trying to resolve the problem I found they had changed the outgoing smte address from roadrunner to socal.rr.com while the incoming when I checked with earthlink is the same as it has always been popl.earthlink.net. Would most appreciate any advice.
