Mail usually allows, upon initial configuration only, one to select an EMailer installation for conversion. I'm not sure if this is still available in SL and up or not, but regardless, it was a bit buggy, especially with large Emailer DB's and attachments. I don't know how many of you have ever run up against the 1GB DB limit, but I have many more than once and it is no fun, as there is little option to recover.
On the other hand, an investment in emailchemy is invaluable. I have no connection with the company, but rather I am a very satisfied user, many times. It too has problems sometimes with DB's approaching the 1GB limit, but it converts handily most formats, between formats. Not cheap, but worth the cost, especially if MAIL no longer imports Emailer files. http://www.weirdkid.com/products/emailchemy/ Stephen On Nov 2, 2012, at 7:44 PM, Robert Fowler wrote: > Once upon a time I converted from Emailer to MS Entourage without incident. > I bet the same is true for converting to Mail.
