I agree with what Chris said, the old EMC (emc1) had an limit of 100% not 10-20% like we envision usefull. And I also agree that it shouldn't stop the machine at all. It could be however that there is something else wrong at the very same moment. Please try to remove the Backlash setting while testing more.
