Hi Michael, 

No, I don't want to slap you, on the contrary, I'd like to thank 
you for all your hard work on EMC2. 

And I don't want to stand in the way of progress, but would the 
tooltablev2 changes mean that I would no longer be able to 
edit/inspect/repair the tooltable with my favorite text editor? 
Doesn't that go against the idea (generally) of using human-
readable ini files and setup files? 

I'm also thinking here of the Mozilla devs who took a wrong 
turn years ago (10?) and now our e-mail address books are *still* 
trapped in the Mork database (a change which I'm sure had all 
kinds of perceived advantages at the time). Would there be some 
kind of sqlite3 database inspector tool that we would have to use 
to look at the tool table directly? 

Could you explain more about what it is that you are planning here, 
so as to reassure the nervous? And what would be the benefits of 
this proposed change? Thanks very much.
