as I said in my previous mail, I'll make that optional so as not to force
people to switch. So things will default to the existing scheme.

As for your valid question 'how would I edit things if I switched?', I surveyed 
the
tools for visiual editing of Sqlite3 databasese which is quite long. 

(Note that command-line tools for sqlite3 are very simple to use, and there is 
always
the route of export / edit / reimport as a fallback). 

As for visual tools, I found the following useful among the few I tried:

- dbedit.tcl is a long way for a drop-in replacement for tooledit.tcl into 
Axis: http://sqlite.org/cvstrac/wiki?p=TclDbEdit
- The Firefox Sqlite-Manager extension works great.
- the sqliteman Ubuntu package contains a nice GUI application.
