Thanks for summing up whats going on. I saw all the links in the
messages but it was hard to bring everything together :)

I have already managed to get it running. Very nice!
It will probably take some days to get myself up to date and to see
what's going on.

I have also managed to push a branch (buesch-rt-patches-forward-port) to
my repository at git://gitorious.org/emc-rt-preempt/emc-rt-preempt.git .
It contains just the linuxcnc-buesch-rt-patches-forward-port and the fix
with the rtapi messages.
