IOW, don't even try on this machine, it sounds a lot like that one.

I'd druther have the LTS, but its appearing from the screens I negotiated 
to get the 12.04-2 LTS for amd64 iso, that they are going to paywall it by 
the time the next LTS comes around, if not before.
