I'm pretty sure.  I've printed several of these sliced with different
versions of both Slic3r (both normal and "spiral vase" mode) and
kisslicer.  Also, I repaired the STL files prior to slicing so they are
manifold and use 0% infill to make them vases.  I wasn't able to get
them to slice properly as-is.

Finally, I have reviewed the gcode in a couple of different viewers, and
the defects I'm seeing are not preset.  This is confirmed by printing
the same gcode more than once, which results in errors in different
physical locations on the print.
