Im actually starting to understand it now. so by this line
setp hm2_5i25.0.7i77.00.digital-out-01 1
it will activate the tool changer piston out to connect with the spindle.
But before that, would I not need a line that says
G0 Z-6.78 "Just an example as to where the tool change position needs to be for
the x axis"
then how would I add the setp hm2_5i25.0.7i77.00.digital-out-01 1
to the m6 file?
after that I guess I could have setp hm2_5i25.0.7i77.00.digital-out-01 0
setp hm2_5i25.0.7i77.00.digital-out-02 1 "activate drawbar"
G0 Z-2.00 "Hieght for tool clearance"
---------this is where i am lostI need to take the input from the control
o<tool> and rotate the turret to the right tool position

Subversion Kills Productivity. Get off Subversion & Make the Move to Perforce.
With Perforce, you get hassle-free workflows. Merge that actually works.
Faster operations. Version large binaries. Built-in WAN optimization and the
freedom to use Git, Perforce or both. Make the move to Perforce.
