First, Merry Christmas to all. Second, although my oar to steer this project is toothpick sized, I find the idea of LCNC taking over the whole screen quite scary. After all, it is running on your basic PC, and that PC is quite capable of doing many other things (like maintain an IRC session to the emc/lcnc groups on freenode, browsing the web for tooling etc) things WHILE LinuxCNC is running. I may, while the machine is carving mahogany, be writing code for the next operation in another workspace.
