Hi,

We do not have this kind of "recovery" option in any of our machines. I also
dont think there is much need for that. Because "if start from line no" is
working like it should you can use that instead. Correct way to start from line
is to run program throu until line we want to start from(Without actual
movements like with "Machine Lock" switch on. And FeedsX100). After we get to
line we want to start from we make sure current tool matches tool needed for
this program block. If not we get an alarm "Tool no" if yes we go to pause
state and after pressing play program starts to run. Of course there is a lot
responsibility for machine operator if "start from line" is used but that is
how it is with all CNC controls. Correct name for "start from line no" is
Sequence Restart.

We did have a brief discussion about this on the IRC a few weeks ago,
based on a forum request for a "recovery" file if the machine was shut
down (deliberately or due to power cut)
The machine could log the last line succesfully completed, along with
machine-state at that point.

On restart a dialog could offer to reinstate that state and continue,
to manually set up that state and continue, or to ignore the file.
