I read in !emc-pstc that Gelfand, David <david.gelf...@ca.kontron.com> wrote (in <DAE684A26044B6469EF0A1E1565116820F0B33@semsl131>) about 'GTEM for full compliance testing?', on Wed, 12 Dec 2001: >What is a CDV?
In IEC, there is a two-stage voting procedure. National Committees first vote on a 'Committee Draft with Vote' (CDV) and if that is positive, then on a 'Final Draft International Standard' (FDIS). ISO, CEN and CENELEC procedures are similar but not identical. CENELEC also has a Unique Acceptance Procedure, which is like the old IEC Accelerated Procedure, requiring only a single voting stage. -- Regards, John Woodgate, OOO - Own Opinions Only. http://www.jmwa.demon.co.uk After swimming across the Hellespont, I felt like a Hero. ------------------------------------------- This message is from the IEEE EMC Society Product Safety Technical Committee emc-pstc discussion list.
