Mathematics describes an ideal world, or, rather, different ideal worlds 
according to which axioms are adopted. (Maxwell's equations, for 
example, are widely considered not to be consistent with quantum 
mechanics.)

Considerations of philosophical principles, such as ethics, are 
generally not amenable to a mathematical approach.
