There is already an amendment which relates to "performance >criteria for transducers with integrated or remote signal conditioning" >( Annex F of EN61326:1997) and this is the title of the new standard, >IEC 61326-2-3. Thanks.
From the public part of the IEC web site: Project : IEC 61326-2-3 Ed. 1.0 Committee 65A Current document 65A/433/CDV Current status ADIS - Approved for FDIS circulation History Associated Documents Title: Electrical equipment for measurement, control and laboratory use - EMC requirements - Part 2-3: Particular requirements - Test configuration, operational conditions and performance criteria for transducers with integrated or remote signal conditioning HISTORY OF THE PROJECT Stage Document Date Target Date AMW 65A/364/MCR 28 June 2002 CCDV 65A/433/CDV 21 January 2005 30 November 2004 ADIS 65A/451/RVC 8 July 2005 30 September 2005 DEC 30 November 2005 ASSOCIATED DOCUMENTS : 65A/404/INF What has probably happened is that the splitting up of IEC 61326 into a multi-part standard has resulted in the original Annex F being elevated to a Section of Part 2. But it may have changed in the process. The standard is almost certainly dual-voted in IEC and CENELEC and if so will result in a new edition of EN 61326, split up into Parts and Sections, with the usual 3 year transition period. -- Regards, John Woodgate, OOO - Own Opinions Only.
