Subject: Air transport of batteries

Hi group,

Are there any requirements on bulk transporting re-chargeable batteries by air
?
Can these be shipped inside the product (like a battery pack in a notebook, a
Li-ion battery in an iPod) or must such batteries be packed separately outside
the product?
Note: this is not about (batteries inside) PC's carried by passengers, but on
cargo transport.

Best regards,

Kris Carpentier
