I doubt that there is a confidentiality issue. People usually say so if 
there is. I think it's more likely that no-one has experienced any such 
phenomenon.

In UK I've heard, in the past, of immunity issues with European-type 
RCCBs (Residual-Current Circuit Breakers), which sense the difference 
between line and neutral currents. But the problem was with quite strong 
conducted emissions at low radio frequencies (not even as high as 1.6 
MHz), not wireless phones.

I believe there is no such immunity issue in Europe at present.
