Hi all, I spent September 11, 2001 at a SEMI program in St Paul looking at a video and discussing the flammability effects on large objects such as tanks and reservoirs, sinks etc.... it seems that, at the time, we needed to start looking at these effects as the flames did not self extinguish as they should have. I believe this was after a fire in Taiwan?? where equipment that was not supposed to burn did. Perhaps we should look over at that neck of the woods for the effects on large thick pieces of plastic. I've heard anecdotes that the stresses placed on some polymers in some injection molding processes that were not well thought out, caused some reduction in flame resistance.
