Hello all,

I have an EUT that has the following data inputs

1) Video Data Coax Cables (BNC) INPUT

2) IP CABLE INPUT THAT COULD CONTAIN BOTH DIGITAL DATA AND POE OR
SIMPLY DIGITAL DATA

3) 24vac INPUT

I can config the EUT TO accept one of two (2) setup options

A) 24vac with separate IP Cable CONTAINING DATA ONLY

2) POE (no 24vac connected) via the IP Cable that is also carrying
digital .

My setup is using an EFT Tester that goes out to a Capacitive Clamp TO
COUPLE THE SPIKES ONTO THE DATA LINES

Setup A is not the problem, it is a simple conventional setup where the
data IP cable alone is receiving the 2kv spikes @ 5KHz rep rate alone.
Once that test is completed the power supply will then receive 2kv
spikes @ 5KHz rep rate spikes on the Line, Neutral,Gnd (with various
combinations.)

Setup B is my conundrum, if I am using ONLY POE as my supply to the EUT
the data line is (as you know) bundled into the IP Cable along with the
POE.

If I use the POE along there are spikes going straight into the input of
the supply of the EUT .

The question is given the standard .. is this a valid configuration to
test the EUT ?
(BTW the EUT is classified as ITE )

Thanking you in advance for your input,

Best Regards,
Reg Henry
