The 'scientific investigation' is an on-going field trial, which has 
been running for decades. The 'results' are the numbers of complaints of 
interference received by the spectrum management authorities. As long as 
they are manageably low, the limits must be OK (or perhaps too 
stringent). If they rose to an unacceptable level, the limits would be 
swiftly lowered.
