In the U.S., there are OSHA regulations that require electrical apparatus used in the workplace be certified to U.S. standards by one of OSHA's Nationally Recognized Test Laboratories (NRTL's). Is there a similar regulation in Canada that requires electrical apparatus used in the workplace be certified by one of the Standards Council of Canada approved test laboratories to Canadian standards?
