Dude, buy the code - you will need to waste a weekend reading. Article 705
is the general requirements, 690 for PV, 694 for wind, and 692 for fuel
cells. There is an article 445 for gens, but have not read it - your
homework is to write a report for all and present at next PSES symposium.

Also, for commercial stuff, you will need to read NFPA70E.

For stuff 'outside the fence', you will need to have an NRTL mark.
