Charles, I remember attending an amateur radio club meeting in the 1970s, and someone brought their new Altair 8080 personal computer - a new device for the tech savvy!
His demonstration involved placing an AM radio next to the computer, then toggle-switch programming a long sequence into the computer. When he was done, he pressed the 'Run' switch, and the AM radio emitted a sequence of squeals imitating The Beatles song 'The Fool On The Hill'. I guess this was a case of intentional EMI.
