Gentlemen,
I noticed a problem with encoder boards today.
I have three ppmc encoder boards. Any one of the boards will run
the commtest without error for any length of time. Any two will give
random comm errors. This happens no matter the slots the boards are
installed in. The errors are not continuous but there are enough
errors to cause me to believe I cannot use two encoder boards in my
machine. The errors are the same using two different parallel cables.
