Hi all, Ah, rumors, rumors ... well better than a rumor. Weber Systems has decided to offer a hobbyist price for the 2.5D version of their CAD/CAM package. Of course you have always been able to do the CAD for free but the CAM cost $250. Now they are offering the package for non-commercial use at $89.95. This of course comes with minimal support. They do have some pretty good tutorials for you to sit thru.
Things like gears, cams, splines and nurbs now become easier. :-) Most of that is pretty exotic for the things I do but conics are pretty handy.
