One of the reasons I need the controller is because my Shizuoka's steppers run fine on the software generated signals, but I need a fast PWM to run the changer motor. I haven't found the specs for the PWM feature yet. Can I assume that I can get above 20kHz? The rest of the features will be fluff. Do you have any pictures of your machine? The design of the changer will need to follow your setup, which I don't think lends itself well to generic tutorials. -- Kirk Wallace http://www.wallacecompany.com/machine_shop/ http://www.wallacecompany.com/E45/index.html California, USA ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ OpenSolaris 2009.06 is a cutting edge operating system for enterprises looking to deploy the next generation of Solaris that includes the latest innovations from Sun and the OpenSource community.
