It was a reply to a person who had replied to the original post. I agree it would add nothing but cost, and emc would not be able to use the output at all

It doesn't seem to add anything that EMC2 can't already do in software, and costs twice what a Mesa card does to do it in hardware. It claims to "close the loop" but all it really looks to do is to trigger a following error with Mach3 based stepper systems. EMC2 already has that functionality available. I am not meaning to be critical here, just trying to save the original poster from some confusion -- atp ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Verizon Developer Community Take advantage of Verizon's best-in-class app development support A streamlined, 14 day to market process makes app distribution fast and easy Join now and get one step closer to millions of Verizon customers http://p.sf.net/sfu/verizon-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list Emc-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Verizon Developer Community Take advantage of Verizon's best-in-class app development support A streamlined, 14 day to market process makes app distribution fast and easy Join now and get one step closer to millions of Verizon customers http://p.sf.net/sfu/verizon-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list Emc-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
