for a small stepper motor, like a NEMA 17 I need a small (DC) electrically driven lock that I can attach to the shaft such that when the power is turned off the shaft is locked in place.
Do any of you folks know of such a device? I've been googling around but I haven't been able to come up with the proper combination of search terms to get at exactly what I'm looking for.
