Yes, I was totally ignorant of the problem and only understood the
symptom at that time.
I had checked the Index Pulse, at one point, and it was going
negative active like the other Bit inputs into Motenc.
Until I saw what a working .hal setup was, I focused on the
setup as the problem.
It was the age old problem;
"until one knows what is correct it is difficult to know what is wrong".
And that is "The Curse of the New User" of anything;
especially for something as comprehensive as EMC.
The working .hal file was the clue to start looking beyond .hal setup.
