I know I have probably close to 40 Hrs with X up, and maybe 10 - 20 Hrs with EMC2 running. This is an Intel D510MO board with 2.4.6 EMC2 with the 10.06 Linux kernel, and a small SATA SSD for mass storage. You can buy the whole works from mini-box, the mobo, picopsu, memory and SSD. mini-box's prices on the satadom SSD are a bit high, though, and I'd want more SSD storage for a general-purpose machine control. I saw some 16 GB SATA SSD's on eBay for about half mini-box's price for a 4 GB.
