Wow, that is great news! I think that first few precedents are the hardest part here - we should see even more apps on Linux once the ice has started to move.
Unfortunately I am afraid that SolidWorks licence will not be cheaper for Linux users and still will be in +10K range. Please correct me, if I am wrong with the numbers here.
